A message is sent to the recipient informing them of your gift, with a link to retrieve it online. The link in the e-mail goes to a page showing the e-gift Card you created (the design you selected, with your recipient's name and your personalized message), its value and a code number. This page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the e-gift card. 

Once you have sent an e-gift card, the recipient has no time limit to activate it. However, they should press the activation link included in the e-mail they receive as soon as possible.

Once your e-gift card has been activated, it will remain available for you to use until your balance reaches 0.

No. You will only be charged the face value of the e-gift card, and no shipping or any other fees will be imposed at any time. 

Your credit card is charged at the time of purchase. This purchase will appear on your credit card statement as "Dollarama APP".

Yes. If you send separate gift cards to Aunt Mary and Uncle Jim at their shared e-mail address, they will receive two separate messages with an e-gift card from Dollarama with your name in place of [Sender]. Within the text of the e-mails, each message will be addressed to the respective recipient, using the name you entered in the purchase process, for example: "Mary Smith, Luke Sean sent you a $XX eGift Card from Dollarama.

To buy yourself an e-gift card, proceed as follows:
1. Send an e-gift card to your personal e-mail address.
2. Upon entering the recipient's name and e-mail address, enter your own.
3. Follow the steps located in the activation e-mail that you will receive upon completing your purchase.

 If you suspect that someone has copied or stolen your e-gift card, contact Customer Service immediately. Our technology inhibits fraud, but you must safeguard your e-gift card for your own protection. If someone makes a copy of your e-gift card and redeems it for the full amount, your copy will have no value. No matter how many copies are made, the value of the e-gift card is tied to the Gift Card number. When that number is used, the value of the purchase is deducted from the e-gift card. 

To view all of the e-gift cards you have sent that have not been received:
1. Launch the app
2. Tap "Sign In" from the menu
3. Sign into your account
4. Tap "Send A Gift" from the side-menu
5. Tap "Sent Gifts" on the upper-right corner
